Kris Boyd has terminated his contract with Turkish club Eskisehirspor and has started legal proceedings against them for alleged loss of earnings.

Would he be worth a punt? He is available for free in the Jan transfer window and even though he has played in Scotland and the championship, his scoring rate isnt that bad.

Kilmarnock - 153 aps - 63 goals
Rangers - 143 aps - 101 goals
Middlesbrough - 27 aps - 6 goals
Notts Forrest (loan) 10 aps - 6 goals
Eskisehirspor - 2 aps - 0 goals
TOTAL - 335 aps - 176 goals

Thats one goal in every 1.9 games. Considering our current plight with strikers, i think a short term deal of say 6 months with a move to an extension if all goes well, i dont think that we would loose anything.

What do others think? I must mention that this IS NOT a confirmed rumor, just my musing of a possibility. I am waiting for the pictures of a face palm!

My nan has a similar record in the Scottish Prem as Boyd tbf, you could play a retarded monkey up front for Rangers or Celtic and he'd bang 30 a season in.
 
Vassell ran into payment problems out there as well. Snooty British footballers, expecting to be paid. Who do they think they are.
