What has off-field matters to do with team performance? Why cant we judge them in isolation?

You can judge them in isolation if you wish. My point is that off field matters will help on field performance.
If we get our transfer dealings slick and professional then we have a better chance of getting in the players we target.
If we have a very good under age set up the we might grow a couple of our own players.
If we have a spanking new fit for purpose stadium then we may attract better players.
The more professional you are the better you preform.
In my opinion.

Fair enough points in the medium to long term. They will of course impact on the team's performance. However, for the purposes of viewing this season, pointing to any improvements outside the field of play would not balance out any under-performance on it.

We don't generally approve of posters referring to others as reds unless there is genuine, believable evidence mate, you might care to bear that in mind.
