Player Valuation: £60m
It really does look as if Koeman did take his time, did assess his squad and it is beginning to look as if he doesn't really like what he sees.

I think we assumed that a few peripheral players would leave but primarily we would add to the existing group.

It is beginning to look as if we may be losing some core players as well.

I think we may see a very different Everton by the time the window closes in September.
Strength, pace and power seems to be the order of the day.

I think we are going to be asking Belgium for a loan by October

That describes how he was in his playing days and how the Netherlands played.

A less technical approach than we saw with Martinez. We were bullied off the ball a lot last season and had a decline in Intensity and fitness. Think we we see less possession and a more direct approach but also a lot of work off the ball. Also think the defenders will be left more to do their job with more reliance on the midfield to create chances

If by technical you mean, pass the ball sideways for 5 mins and either run into the first defender or deliver a poor cross then yes.

He's assessed the squad and looks to now be moving decisively to rectify the issues, starting with defence
We need a backup striker and a no10 and we could look a whole different animal this season
