Knife to a Gunfight, Part 2

There are enough good players at Utd to win enough games to feed the excuse machine and certainly enough to threaten the domestic trophy scene.

He'll get found out next year when his rebuild will be a monumental fook up, it's one thing dipping into that massive pool of just beneath top level quite another unearthing a Ronaldo or attracting an RVP.

His player recruitment has always been a strength- the [Poor language removed] up last transfer window i imagine was more to do with him not wanting to step on Woodward's toes (both new to the job)
I don't see why he should fail in future ito rebuilding

No experience of buying top level plus creativity and forwards are his blind spot - he'll do alright buying defenders though.

Moyes and United will be fine. He'll make the required signings next summer instead of dithering like he did this year. Then they'll start winning stuff again

I love it when people judge on one result.

Newcastle once beat United 5-0. But never won a single trophy.

Moyes will mess it up as he's frightened of making subs and negative and focused on defence tactics. Countering the opposition. Time will then take care of the rest as their team ages.

Lost 1 in 13 including wins against Arsenal, Liverpool and a record away win in the champions league, they are the most in form team in the league, hardly judging on one game is it?
Even if it was, that's one more than than the anti's gave him before making a decision on how well he will do.
Gone by January was the cry.... its extending now though.

Did they play Liverpool again? They absolutely lost that first match against the ****e..

Oh please this is rubbish.
Arteta, Mirallas, Pienaar, Jelavic (v1), Fernandes, Yak
Just as many as I care to list
And how is no experience of buying top level forwards a weakness? Its not due to him that he's never done it- its due to financial restraints? Now he has money. Now he can identify and buy them. Simple as that.
It's hilariously blind and revisionist to claim that Moyes is weak in the transfer market---- if he has one MASSIVE strength it is that. Everyone in the game says so. Everyone who has seen his transfer/player analysis room says that.

It's okay to give credit to him for being okay at something. I'm not claiming he'll win things with United. I'm not wishing him luck or anything. But let's not act delusional like abandoned kids because he left us. Credit where its due- the guy knows transfers.

He didn't say he had a weakness in buying top level forwards - he said he hasn't bought top level forwards and has a weakness towards effectively using creative players and strikers. Both of those statements are true.
