Knee Ligaments

Thanks bud, good to know. Been 2 weeks since my op and swelling and bruising has almost gone - still very stiff and painful to walk on. The Physio is tough - much ice needed afterwards.
Hope the recovery goes well mate.

I've had this very same op three times following football injuries and I don't really get any bother from my knees now.

Be careful when you step up the rehabilitation. My first game back following recovery I did my other knee in! Think it was the weeks of over compensating that led to a weakness.

3 times!!!

Man that’s unlucky. Good to hear you got over the injuries and pain free

So out trail running last week and managed to hyper extend my knee coming down a slope. Hurt like crazy, but managed to hobble back to car and drive home. Stuck an ice pack on it, couple of brufen and a pint of guiness and left it for 24 hours.

My knee is now swollen to like twice its size, stiff, sore and I cant bend it properly, also when I try and walk on it when my leg straightens I get this really sharp pain at the front of my kneecap like its bone rubbing on bone.

Hurts at the back of the knee also.

Anybody got experience of knee ligament damage and if so how did you get it sorted?
Quit your running - painful, but a warning ice packs will take the swelling down .... get it x rayed....
