I was there!!

Bloody great night! Only just recovered now and had work today (didn't get much done!).

The Drums and The Black Keys were excellent support and really good atmosphere.

Just wondering if I was only Grand Old Teamer there?!

I went to see them in the Echo Arena a couple of years ago and they were excellent mate.

I've liked them since their first album, nice to see them doing so well now.

Cool.

Only thing I can hold against them is he doesn't work the crowd that well, compare to say Dave Grohl, but other than that perfect band. Not a bad song on the list.

They just play a really good set, the one in Liverpool he really got into it, the crowd was excellent that night though.

Nothing beats a good concert.

Had a right nightmare with my tickets (hint: never use Viagogo (dicks)), so only got them at 2 pm when the gig started at 4. So with travelling and tubes and that ended up further away than I would have liked.

Also took the mrs so couldn't go as nuts as if I'd been with my boys!!

At least you enjoyed it, the general rule now is that the closer to the stage you are, the more you'll end up pelted with plastic bottles of piss. I watched it from a fair distance back too.

What did the Mrs think of them?

Manhattan was outstanding, when they done it at the one I was at.

I like a lot of their older stuff so I'm a bit biased as I rate their most recent album as their weakest one. Weird how it works though in the charts, Prince got to number one once with Most Beautiful Girl in the World; arguably one of his shittest songs.

Nowadays the music charts aren't really a reflection on what is good music. Rnb has seen the end of that.

I agree that latest album is weakest as I love the early stuff too. Early stuff is quite bluesy so I love it. Later stuff is good too, just a different sound.
