Hi all,

I don't post much, usually i am drunk when I do so I hope I don't offend anyone!

Been an Everton fan since the mid 80's, I am 40 (ouch) now I used to be a goalkeeper and I am welsh so Nev was always my hero. My uncle and older brother are both blue noses but my dad and younger brother are Villa.

You probably wont see me post a huge amount but I love reading other fans' opinions! My bugbear is people being negative within an hour of winning. I would love for us to play better but enjoy the moment, there are days to discuss how bad we were or an individual player was but when I do get over for games I don't remember ever hearing someone moaning after a win...I love going into the Winslow and you have people dancing on the tables! I love the atmosphere around Goodison :)

I have made a pact with my uncle, my brother and my dad that we are gonna get to Goodison one last time before BMD. Even if we have to spend silly money on corporate rubbish.

anyway, hi to everyone in the Everton family. and I have to say every time I come to Goodison, which sadly is usually on my own, you guys always make me feel 100% welcome even though i am obviously not a scouser.

Love you all :)

Welcome to GOT. Negativity can be found in any situation if you look hard enough and there are some posters on here who seem to pride themselves in looking REALLY hard. The vast majority are sound though. lol

Haha, very true, I was just very drunk when we beat Southampton and was being a bit naggy about people being negative! So I figured I should actually introduce myself.

I forget the actual stats but something like 80% of comments on any forum, not just football tend to be negative. So I guess things will always be slanted in that direction.

I just cannot ever remember leaving the match having won and hearing anyone complain, regardless of how badly we may have played. The time for going into things like that is tomorrow or the day after, I just love the atmosphere when we win!

Bugger me, you joined at the arse end of December 2013? Welcome to the site mate, I hope you and your family are able to visit Goodison Park at least one more time and get to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere before the move ;)
