"King" Kenny: Everton were innocent's punished by Heysel ban

Heysel cost Everton a lot more than it did Liverpool. A side at the height of it's power, looking capable of dominating English football, broken apart by the actions of Liverpool fans on that day. Not Chelsea, not Juventus - Liverpool fans, no ifs or buts.

We're called bitter? Damn right, because if the shoe was on the other foot they'd be bitching about it 10x worse.

The comments show the disparity between the tragedy at Hillsborough and the one at Heysel in the eyes of Liverpool fans. Liverpool can do no wrong as far as the cultists from the Kop are concerned.

But yes, 20 years ago, let it go, blah blah blah...
I'd let it go back in the '80's tbh i had more important things to worry about.

We lost everything as a club that side christ who knows how good it could have become but we'll never know now but the sad thing is Heysal would have happened sooner or later to ours or another English club hooliganism was a cancer then(still is tbh) and frankly it was always going to happen.

Wow , just reading the comments at the end of the article they really are a diffrent bread

"Although we had to be punished, so did juventus. They had a fan FIRING a starter pistol at our fans. They were causing more trouble than our fans. juve got off scot free compared to our club.
It was both fans to some sort of blame it wasn't one sided as some media put it.

It's over now and it cost us at least one more cup. it could've cost us 2 cups seeing as how we were invincible during that time"

The bit on the end is what pissed me off, never mind 39 people where murdered it cost them 2 cups

Someone should tell him to read up on Heysel on Wiki because he either does not have a clue what it is or is just one thoughtless Bastardo
