...to be fair, he holds all the aces and if most of us were in the same position we would look to secure our financial and football future. He will get a hell of a signing fee (Bosman), significantly increased salary and get first team football (probably top flight). There is a chance he could get himself full recognition a England level.

If he stays he will be Baines' back-up, playing U21 and lesser cup games. He will get a better financial contract.

I might be reading this one wrong, but I've been saying all season that a top flight Manager should take a low risk punt on him. I'm amazed they look abroad when there's somebody under their noses. Saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if he's already got a deal lined up.

Watching him last night, he looked confident and assured. Good set-piece delivery too as seen in previous games. I hope we can tie him down to a long-term deal as I have a good feeling about him.

Been hearing about Dowell for years. People are always looking for the next big thing from the academy, from what I've heard from friends who follow the youth more than I do, he's exactly that.
