I have to look after my niece for a full day next week, on my own. How do I keep a 2 year old entertained for a whole day?!

A 2 year old and 5 cats is really not looking very fun.

Ever heard of Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of time"? Sit the two year old and the cats through an eight hour lecture of "A Brief History of Everton". Everyones a winner.

Kids are boss! The first few weeks when you have to sleep in shifts is not fun. But watching them grown and hit milestones like sitting up, crawling, walking and talking are amazing. Our daughter in nearly 3 and a half now. She is just the best little person there is! If I'm having a crap day at work I will ring my mum or whoever she is with and have a conversation with her about what she's been doing. And it's not proper sentences, she can hold a good conversation. Always cheers me up instantly. And the moment you come
Home and she runs to you saying she missed you. Best feeling ever. Nothing compares to that. The unconditional love is just overwhelming. It's amazing how you can create such wonderful little people. Who grow and develop little funny ways of their own.

Kids are the single best thing in the world. I have two daughters 5 and 10. I know every dad says it but they are absolutely stunning. And mad Evertonians too. I actually overheard them arguing the other day over who might end up marrying Seamus Coleman!

Kids of any kind are incredibly hard work but if you put the time in the rewards are ten fold.

I have my 5yr old all day tmoro and she went to bed and handed me a little list of what she wants to do. Starting off with making pancakes and ending with a trip to the cinema she'd put in "watch Everton in lounge and cuddle daddy".

Best thing ever.

I went home at the weekend, I've been at Uni for 3 weeks, and my 2 y/o niece walked into our house and usually the first thing she says is 'CATS!' and goes to them. But this time she didn't even say a word, ignored everyone, and rushed straight over to me and hugged me. Best thing ever.

My youngest has just flushed my car keys down the toilet pan, to make matters worse she came over to me, gave me a hug and said "love you daddy" knowing full well she was in the wrong.

I played football all my life, never was nervous before or during a game until I started watching my son play. I hated watching him as I was always worried he would make a mistake, but couldn't stay away because not knowing what was happening was worse. Now his son has started playing it is worse.
