Oh Kev what have you done, in the kids section of the forum, you monster

Used to read all the books when I was younger, still got them all, must have near twenty of them.

Whenever I used to go to my Dads, my little sis used to watch Phineas and Ferb, better cartoon than most new ones.

I watch phineas & ferb. Dr Doofenshmirtz is a legend.

I was discussing this with my mate as he has a wee five year old lid who's bang into his cartoons.

We concluded that cleverly the Cartoon people now also cater for pothead Dads watching the cartoons too which is quite clever. Maybe we were smashed when we thought of this.

I suppose for kids watching the simpsons was just fine because it was 'cartoons' but then as they grow up a bit they start catching the jokes and the show evolves as well as providing plenty of rewatch value. Even in supposed adulthood now there are elements in comedy it takes a while to click with, usually because we are lucky to get shows unadulterated (haha) or watch torrents/dvds of the shows meaning they come through as they were broadcast - with the cultural and political references elsewhere might not be exposed too.

Anyway, 'Jamie and his magic torch'. 'bagpuss'. 'magic roundabout'. 'futurama'. Wholesome good clean fun.

The Powerpuff Girls, mate. That's where it's at.
