Howard has played quite well - tell me how he was to blame for Scharner's goal yesterday (every Everton player on the pitch turned to look at Osman with the "WTF" look on their face and Ossie is standing there with his hands on his heads in the "FFS, I suck" pose) or the Burnley goal.

The Arsenal match doesn't count - every one on the pitch blew that day except those in red and white.

Howard's coming into his prime - one of the best in the EPL if not the best.

You can't be serious surely though I admire your loyalty if you are, but then I've just realised you are American so I can understand it.

Howard is the worst long shot stopper in the universe, and his positioning is dreadful on occasions.
I'm not saying he was responsible for yesterdays goal, but he was certainly at fault against Burnley, and the goals against Arsenal could be debated.
His job is to keep them out, regardless of how bad the rest of the team plays.
Bring in the Coventry lad, and make him work harder for his place.
