It's in the Daily Mail, so it must be true. NFL flacks and hacks have been speculating that Shad wants to move our beloved Jacksonville Jaguars to London, but what he really wanted all the time was a football team in London. Mike Florio is just too thick to get it.

BTW, the line about home games not being sold out is crap. That was a couple of years ago, this is now.

Al Fayed did spunk a load of money into Fulham (over £200m), which he converted to equity rather than debt, so it's possible the price reflects that investment as I think their published debt is less than £5m, which is probably just the payment terms on one or two transfers.

Even if it is £150m, I expect he'll still show a loss.

What Al Fayed put into the business is meaningless, it's worth what the cash flows add up to. He could have put in 3 billion, it would not affect the price.
