In the US I went a decade and change without eating there.

When they put one up in Asuncion about 5 min walk from my apartment, ate there three times in two weeks as it was a nice change in pace from lomitos or empanadas.

not sure if the same in Paraguay, but the ones in Peru sell a side called pure' (pronounced "puree") in the little plastic tubs like you'd get beans in

yeah, Paraguayos are weirdos as well and dip their fritos in the pure. THey have no gravy. Nor hot sauce- a/k/a salsa picante.

it's also funny how horribly they butcher my name. Craig has morphed into Gree and Nery on their digital order tracking board. I just go with Ale now - I have a couple friends named "Al" (Alejandro) and enjoy beer, so it works.

But friendly people, even with their chicken and potato eating faults.
