Here's a helpful graph:

Strauss on Pietersen

Kevin wasn't liked from day one, and his racism claims (songs - "I've never met a SA I liked" and other such) didn't seem to be taken seriously and as good as brushed off as changing room banter.
He could play, but the England setup appeared to get even more toxic when Flintoff had to retire.

Interesting that mate, I don't know a great deal about it all tbh. Just thought it interesting to see if anybody was on his side of any sorts. Why would Flintoff retiring make things worse? (forgive my ignorance aha)

He seemed to get on with everyone, and was always up for a laugh. KP lost one of his few allies when AF left.
Swann has called KP's book "a work of fiction". hahahaha. They are all on the wind up with one another.

Prior -'I'll respond in detail in time'. hahaha

He reined back from the "Bullying" claim on 5live this morning, saying that it wasnt like the sort of cruel bullying the phrase might suggest, more of a clique thing from some of the dressing room.

Aggers sort of backed him up, saying that every dressing room he has been in had elements of it at times.

Was a good interview.
