I couldnt give a toss who he supports. Fact is he aint actually that good hence why he ended up at West ham whilst nobody else attempted to sign him nor did Newcastle attempt to keep him.

He scores some goals but other than that he is fairly limited.

Newcastle are crackers selling their captain and top scorer (who's still only 28) for £3m. From his point of view it looked like they weren't going to offer him another deal and it gave him the opportunity to work with Big Sam again. West Ham now have cover to let Scott Parker go. I am surprised that clubs like Stoke didn't go in for him though.
