I quite like him as a Pundit, tries to remain fairly unbias, but you can tell he has a soft spot for us and Preston in particular.
Oh and hes totally a legend for this.

As a player he was alright too. Always remember him scoring in, what was probably one of my favourite Everton games ever, the 3-2 away at Norwich back in 2004.

True that about Pienaar, Kevin was just adept at falling over. Seems he is a cracking fella though.

Used to drive me mad that he got that consecutive caps record for Ireland, and couldn't believe it when we signed him. His first touch was often embarassingly bad. I remember an Ireland game where he was at fullback by the touchline and the ball was dropping from high up, and even with the nearest attacker not particular close to him he actually tapped the ball out for a throw rather than trust his ability to trap it! Kilbanes first touch and Robbie Keanes pretend attempts to win headers were probably my biggedt gripes when I used to go see Ireland regularly.
He was crap or average for us too, most of the time.
Having said all that I have to reiterate what most are saying above in that he is a real down to earth gent, and you couldnt not like him. Met him briefly when out on the lash in Dublin a few years ago and he was as sound as I expected.
