Religion is to do with the majority of "stuff" happening in the world, no matter what religion it is. Religion is bad full stop.

Islam is the chosen religion of those who perpetrated the atrocities in Kenya, the religion itself is not to blame.
As I said and Elong reiterated most conflict can be traced back to a religious start point, whatever the religion.
...& yet without it, would they be acting in this manner? They're misguidedly carrying out these deeds in the name of that religion, therefore the religion is at the root of the issue.
Islam has a responsibility to distance itself from these extremists & work with the West on isolating the peddlers of hate that are perpetuating the misinterpretation of the Quran & are radicalising an element of their youth.
I've seen nothing but hollow words from the British Islamic community on this issue & if they want to be excluded from the blame, then they need to make themselves part of the solution imo.

I think a good point made above is that, while the antagonists may be of a certain religion, that doesn't mean their crimes are religiously motivated, or that their religion is to blame.
I have to plead ignorance a little, I haven't followed this story closely.
