But anyone who's interested read a book by Bruce Bawer called 'While Europe Slept: How radical Islam is destroying the west from within'. Won national books critics circle award whatever that means. Get it on your Iphones/Ipads or something.

At first I was sceptical, thinking it might just be scare mongering. But really if you read it and think about it, it's happening all the time.

Believe it or not I'm not into politics at all, my mate gave it to me to read on the off chance because he couldnt believe what he'd read. All I'm saying is the stuff that's going on right now is scary s*it.

I agree with Black here Nik, its your views mate (and some top bait if intended) but what you're spouting is non fact based assertions of them taking over and that. On the contrary, the vast majority of them fit in and are respectful members of the community as they have been for decades until 9/11 and the subsequent painting of Islam as the definite world danger.

I can only think that the Northern Irish living over here, like plenty of my family, are made up as it's made the public move on from their last over reactive prejudice campaign which was all Northern Irish/Irish were IRA sympathisers. There's been some boss fights caused by that like.

The problem stems from, and I'm not aiming this at you, poor education, gullibility and an irresponsible media. It clearly sucks a lot of people in from some of the [Poor language removed] I've read and heard back on home soil.

They're not taking over, they're doing what they always done. When the world moves onto the Chinese they will sleep easier at night.

Exactly. Islamophobia is picking on a vulnerable minority which is a [Poor language removed] trick. I'm alright Jack. It'll always be the same.

I'm not scared, I'm just wary of the religion that's all, based on what I know through education, what I've seen in real life practically every day and yes some of what I read in the media. I just think, taking to its extreme its a dangerous religion because of what it makes people do (and Im not just talking about flying planes into buildings). I dont think they all want to commit terrorism, but I just doubt the Muslim community from where I'm from in Luton shed many tears. Seriously lids if you'd seen what I've seen in the town it's almost enough to drive you to vote for a 'get them out NOW' party. Education tells you tha you could never sort the bad from the good in that situation. All im saying is I can sympathise with decent people voting for far right groups, especially the elderly who fought for this country.

I said I was done, but I'm still here. I love a good argument I really do.

Read it. Understand that there are sensationlist stories to sell the papers, but still doesn't change what I've seen. Doesnt change the fact that a lot of the religion has no place in western society. Doesnt change there intolerant beliefs. Doesnt change there unequal social conformities. Doesnt change that even if they are the nicest of nice of Muslim, our way of life is infidelic. They don't believe in our way of life. And I don't beleive in theres. The only difference is I'm not in somebody else's country setting up my own little community and cordoning myself off and preaching this stuff.

And just for the record, a Muslim gang might not have been responsible for this attack in the article, but I bet you this one did something similar:

Look, up until a couple of years ago I lived in a predominantly muslim area, had muslim neighbours, have got a fair few mates who are muslim, know their families, have been to their weddings, festivals etc and have never felt anything less than welcomed by them and have never been treated as anything less than equal. Never even clapped eyes on a burqa, either. Maybe the odd niqab or two but it was a rare sight. The thought of them telling their mrs to stay indoors or whatever is f***ing laughable to be honest. Have had more hassle off white chavs where I've moved to than I ever had of the asian yoot back there. Arseholes are arseholes, mate. Their religion is incidental. My only problem with them was that most of them were kopites.

Yeah I've been to a muslim wedding. Was alright. Very spicy though. K well you've been lucky, most of them wouldnt welcome a white person into there territory. In Luton you just dont go to Bury Park, plain and simple.

I've kind of moved on to another thing now, where its not nessessaily the Muslims fault but our law system and our government favour them now. See my above post for an example. We bend over backwards for them.
