i was at goodison weds afternoon getting tickets for psv game

reporter/journalist from century fm was there (anyone who was at the ticket office will of seen him), asking fans about their views on a posible takeover

after i bored him with my views for a couple of minutes, we got talking off mike

he said kenwright was approached to meet a russian billionare (either he didnt tell me his name or ive forgot it) at a london hotel. kenwright declined, as "he thought he might get a gun held to his head".

They did meet eventually in Liverpool.

Cant really judge on why he should/shouldnt have reported it, but i know what i was told.

Probably can't report it as he can not substantiate it, but would not have said anything if it was bullshit. I believe there is something factual in it.
