Did Johnson ever mortgage his home for the club? I have a question - Did Evertons dire need mean Kenwright sold parts of his theatre collective to be able to afford to rescue us? I mention that in the light of Bill Gates - had he flogged microsoft early he would be a much poorer man. I cannot juxtaposition the two in real terms, but Kenwright did sacrifice, more than you or I and so put his life and livelihood on the line on a scale we couldn't and therefore wouldn't. Where is the appreciation? Would you have chased Johnson out for selling Arteta to Newcastle by now?
 


Kenwright did not actually put tons of cash in the club's bank account when he took over from Johnson. He purchased the shares and the money went into Johnson's account.

So what money exactly did BK put into the Everton coffers and when??

Check the company accounts for opening capital and add to that the cost of shares purchased then you'll have your answer for a day one figure
