no offence but why do they want Rafael back? because he made them a good champions league team? his league form wasn't exactly great and he'd have to do a blinder to even get this squad close to the champs league so therefore it would be pointless

Rafael really could waste a lot of cash there, or not get any and then the lighter fluid and flags woyuld bve out again.

I reckon the events of the H&G protests, the treatment by the fans of Hodgson have made it a job that many wouldn't touch with a shoity stick. They cant compete with the big boys any more financially so who would want to come to not compete for the PL ?*

* Sven would come for wedge and eventual payoff obviously.

Avram Grant arriving in town would be hilarious, like some stone vulture, he's like one of the horsemen of the apocalypse,
 

It's still Liverpool, a club with a huge reputation and fanbase. Most managers would consider the job.
