I think a lot of people in the public eye run their affairs so that the person is effectively a business and they draw a salary/benefots from the system. Initially the pay to 'the company' doesn't attract income tax or NI but pays Corpy tax instead, any draws from the company may do. It is quite tax efficient, I did the same when I ran a small business operation.
