The rumour is that ex-Everton youth and Republic of Ireland U21 striker Karl Sheppard could be heading to Sunderland when his contract with Shamrock Rovers expires at the end of the month. It would be a bit of a sickener if he turned out to be any good. He caused Spurs a few problems tonight.
