Juventus revel in redemption after their first Serie A title since 2003

Unlike the stripped titles that will forever stain their history, they've won this one the right way.

They play great football, they're defensively titanic and they don't have the individuality of a team like Milan, but instead a great team-ethic and almost quiet dignity, exemplified by the old pros like Buffon and Pirlo.

Pirlo especially, released by Milan last year, pulling the strings for a Juve title romp this year. Epic.

I was going to type some fabricated reasons why I like them designed to fool the read into thinking I watch them and any Italian football whatsoever but let's be honest about it: I like them as they hate Liverpool and that's good enough for me.

That was a cracking attack, and of course del Piero replaced Baggio. The team with Zidane was the real deal though. Nedved did a decent job replacing the irreplaceable but you feel their current team is not a patch on that lineup. Buffon is the only player that would get near a world XI. Fantastic keeper though. Like Casillas it feels like he's been around forever. Just checked, he made his debut 18 years ago. Still only 34 as well so a few more years left yet. Casillas could break all sorts of records, 30 years old with 128 caps already. Scary. Anyway, I digress.

Be nice for the big Italian clubs to get back up to the pinnacle again and challenge the big two in Spain.

They are currently going through new court cases, with new evidence, to get their titles back.

The new evidence shows that Inter had dealing with ref's aslo, they were the only team NOT to get punished.

They WILL add a 3rd star to the badge, as they HAVE won 30 league titles.

Also, for next season, they are looking at Cavani, Asamoah from Udinese, and now Lavezzi !

I'm glad they've won the title, I've got a bit of a soft spot for Juve.

Del Piero, Zidane, Nedved and Trezeguet are some of my all time favourite players of theirs.

There is no redemption for a bunch of mugs that conned their way to a league win and god knows what else. And people are glad Rangers nearly folded, this bunch of tramps ought to have been jailed for 20 years a piece.
