Just when you thought you knew how transfers were conducted.....

When he was at Newcastle I thought (and posted) he would be a 20+ a season striker for a long time to come. He did have a knack for goals and a Shearer like personality about him. But he's totally gone off the boil, just thinks he's made it perhaps? Not really sure, he's defo not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Fantastic work that from Newcastle, loving the 12k interest on top!!!

He was the one player who actually didn't want to leave NUFC. Never pay over 10M to a player who doesn't really want to play for you. I think he'd still be a 15-20 goal scorer if he was never sold.

Jonas did an interview with Premier League World saying that after Newcastle turned down the offer from Liverpool, Andy Carroll wanted to be transferred. But whatever the case I reckon his problems are more to do with his mental state, I mean look at Fernando Torres he wanted to leave Liverpool and he hasn't set the world on fire either at his new club.

Strong rumours were suggesting he was going to be sold back to Newcastle, I don't see Newcastle paying out the money, but anyway I reckon either mid season or next season both he and Torres will fire. I don't think Carroll was ever worth the 35mil, but he will in a few years, or at least if he finds his form he will.

I find the drunken outbursts funny, just because if it was a player he'd be fined heavily, but since he is on the staff will probably just get a slap on the bum and told to be good.
