Barkley needs to be shielded from the awfulness of the modern game, u know?

I'm ok with Tim Cahill's only move being the sneaky run in from deep to head in a cross. I am not okay if we don't have the energetic wide men in Pienaar and Coleman to create those chances. Playing Cahill in the centre and then Bily on left and Osman on right is asking to have zero penetration.

How I wish we had a proper winger, like Matt Jarvis or something.

Heitinga can forma decent partnership. He has barely been given a chance in his proper position.

I agree pretty much with the rest of it. I dont think Osman aint good enough though, just needs to play centrally more.

I am with you on this, Osman is good enough but not when he is played out of position to make way for someone who isn't as good.
