Just found out they were coming. Buzzing here lads. I will be singing this at the top of my lungs.

I saw them two months ago in Madison and it was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE. You will not regret this.

Also, my band is covering Holland, 1945. I'll get somebody to film it for you when we finally have our first show next month.

Does semen stain the mountaintops now that you have your tickets?

Surprisingly, that was one of the few songs they didn't play.

It was AMAZING. Life changing show.

Great thread. I loved this band. I actually slightly prefer their first album "On Avery Island".

I'm jealous you are going to get to see them johnnydawg.

Here is a fantastic ( but very poor quality) video of them performing my favorite song, 'Ghost', way back in 1998. Talk a bout a jam session filled with energy. I love it, it goes off at the 3.00 minute mark. There is an 'Untitled' song always linked to 'Ghost' both on the album and when they played it live, and it REALLY goes of at the 4.42 minute mark in this clip! An outstanding and powerful mess is they way I love to describe this footage.

actually saw them back in Feb, forgot about this thread...they were even better than I had hoped, and my expectations were sky high. It was one of those shows where everyone there knows they're in sort of a secret club and majority of the public doesn't know or care and we're fine with that because we know and care.

NMH are the ultimate "a friend turned me on to them" band. One listen you either get it or don't.

Not for the first nor the last time, I find myself jealous of JDAWG and his perpetual state of coolness.

If only my life were exactly like it's depicted on the internet mate. Most of it's quite boring. But the highs tend to be pretty high :)

All things considered, Aeroplane probably beats On Avery Island (for me), but I absolutely love "Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone"

I feel that way myself quite a bit. My life is 85% routine and 15% spontaneous acts of a desperately bored man.

This becoming more of a recognized thing, that somebody's online profile is generally only the highlights of their life, all of the boring stuff like the number of hours they sit on GOT or watching TV is left out, so you get this skewed perception that people are much more interesting than they actually are.

So, after selling my ticket to see them in Mancester to see them at the above festival. It got cancelled out of nowhere on Tuesday, 3 days before. Been completly done over and i'm pretty gutted. It's going to be an effort to get my ticket money back too. ATP has really, really messed up this time.
