Under Moyes we were always a dangerous team and more so down the left hand side which, despite brilliant attacking play with the "Bainaar" combination, we were always susceptible to opponents cancelling us out tactically as this was our main attacking threat. Now I feel we are a more balanced team, Coleman was always quality attacking from the right but I feel Martinez has dealt with the issue of us being a one trick pony with Pienaar and Baines. I have Liverpool fan "friends" in work and they all agree - we seem to be more of a team as oppose to them and we all know who Liverpool's main threat is.

In my humble opinion, Only Manchester City this season (who beat us) are the only team playing the better football and looking a real threat. Arsenal are always quality but lack steel in midfield, Liverpool rely too much on Suarez and Chelsea are a rich Stoke (but a fantastic one at that who grind out results). This season is a wonderful opportunity to make history in the Premiership for us. COYB.

Good point.
We've scored more goals from full backs than any other team - 9 (?) and only 2 of them were dead balls. The great thing about watching us play is the fact we're attacking as a unit. I love watching replays of our goals from different angles when you realise that we had men over so if X had missed, Y was waiting to tap in.

I can just about take being damned with faint praise from know-nothing pundits who are taking the easy £, but to hear fans of other clubs praising our style of play shows how far we've come, and how quickly. Yes there've been a couple of games where it hasn't clicked, but they are the exception of the new normal - and long may that continue.

The lads are playing with an air of confidence that I have not seen since the 80's it's refreshing and at the same time I also believe these set of players can actually see this season through and be in the mix for CL at the end.

One thing for RM is he has made us believe again and that is priceless as a fan.
