Jumpers For Goal Posts

I was lucky in that my best mate's garden used to back on to our primary school so it was a quick jump over his fence and then a full blown game every night with the goals being painted onto walls either side. Half time would be when one of the neighbours had called security and they would come round tell us to do one until there van had gone and then we'd all pile back in for the 2nd half.

When I couldn't go to my mates I spent hours on the bit of grassland by us on my own recreating Sheedy's free kicks or Gray's headers. Makes me quite sad to drive passed playing fields now and see them empty.

Ha ha,funnily enough mate I played wide right,had zero pace but got away with being able to whip a decent ball in with pace to the box with my right peg,couldn't use my left foot to save my life and was told often by various managers I was a right lazy so and sololso certain similarities with the great man Sheeds I cling too,although at about a hundred times a lower level of footylollollol
