JT admits racist slur?

He hasn't admitted it and Anton Ferdinand has admitted he didn't even hear it.

No one on the pitch heard it.

Not even a case.

The whole thing is laughable.

Wouldn't go to court if there wasn't evidence of something

Sorry mate, and whilst of course racism is indefencible, even if he did say it it should never have gone to court. Last time I checked this country believed in free speech. When you start putting people through the court system for saying even the most abhorrent of things, that's when that belief in freedom and democracy becomes compromised.

Do hate preachers on the streets go to court? No, they get police protection on the very same grounds of freedom of speech.

The whole thing is very bad for this country. If guilty JT should of course be punished heavily by his club and The FA, but not by a court of law.

I'm sure a fan went to the police and made the accusation. They haven't just took it to court on hearsay. They've took the complaint, investigated it and find there's enough evidence to take him to court.

If it wasn't a fan making the complaint to the police and it was to the FA, the FA would deal with it ala Suarez.

Can we not have a poll???

Would be too full of 'JT is a bell so I want him to get done despite common sense' voters.

Again, I think my point above is actually a valid one.

Also, wasn't there a complaint from the crowd about Diouf allegedly racially abusing one of our ballboys? Where's the courtcase England?! That would have been ridiculous too, btw.

No way should this be in a court of law. My above post explains why I think so.
