If Tim was good enough then he wouldn’t need to be replaced would he. Armstrong will be used mainly off the bench this season and so he should, he’s 18 years old and the Premier League is brutal.

We need 3 midfielders.

How does Brownhill help remotely given he's been gash in the premier league and had pretty much a very good - isolated championship season.

I’m not advocating signing brownhill but the message it would send is we’ve got a ridiculously small squad and other than them there are no youngsters pushing or inclusion .

If they’re better than him they’d play I’d imagine.

Dont understand this signing. Last season is a huge outlier in output for him and he's been your bog standard midfielder when he was in the PL. Would fill the same space in the squad that Garner does. Don't see the point in it. Just buy or buy/loan two proper midfielders.
