Well I have no doubt that this guy is talent. Just watched the U17 game for England on Sky+ - I have to say some lovely touches, but more impressed by his awareness and maturity, for a 15 year old it looks promising.

People are already saying he is better than Rooney at the same age, could we be looking at the man to break Vaughan's record? Quite quite possibly.

Hes a great player, and i cant wait to see him playing some games for the reserves and 1st team freindlys, it shouldnt b too long...

...I love evertons youth system. I think we have one of the best. Weve had rooney, gto anichebe and vaughan, kissock and agard and now baxter! the futures bright!

ah yes forgot about him, what a freekick! o and Juckiewitz will be shining though aswell soon!

Whats happened to vidarsson over the years??

nice to see the G o D back, all we (I) need to see is leon back and the jobs a good un.

ohhh,suits you.

im not convinced on agard or spencer, vidarsson has had the most experience, both at club and international. it'd be great if we started focusing on wingers.

:O agard is great! his similar to vaughan, but has a better celebration!

seen him in the flesh twice, and although he scored both times, he didnt stand out like kissock did.

hes short for a forward as well. it appears vaughan is quicker.

Great to see Moyes in the crowd for the England Baxter game. This kid is 15 so he has around 18 months to beat Vaughan. His touch and awareness was quality. Where all the other Arsenal cockney kids were titting about with flicks and stuff, he was just doing the easy stuff, but well.

That's what I first recognised in Rooney. He picked the ball up, looked where the goal was and just twatted it past Seaman, simple as. I expect Baxter to do the same.

moiseur (sp) rooney had a host of european clubs (specifically a milan side) sniffing around him, any such developments on the jose case?

Not sure, but what's good is, we are in a much better position to keep our kids then we were then.

I still feel Rooney was leaving the club because he felt he was a) benefiting the club with money, and b) he felt there wasn't the ambition.

Now that is no longer an issue.

a player is only as good as his last game

a club is only as good as its last result

a club is only as ambitious as its last transfer
