Nothing to do with them being banned substances? Anyway I have very little sympathy for the lad as by all accounts this isn't the first instance.

As a young lad with a large disposable income I'm not surprised dubious individuals want to take advantage of such a situation...

Yet, if I was being paid as much as he was for arguably something that isn't overly stressful then I'd do my utmost to keep myself in line.

To be fair myself and plenty of other people I know were still making bad life decisions at the age of 24, not gonna judge him too much.

Don't you think he knows that though? Addiction is so easily scoffed at...it's a disease. I have no doubt in my mind he knows he's absolutely destroying his life but can't stop/doesn't feel strong enough to stop. Probably making him depressed and causing him to use more. A vicious cycle.

I do think having folks who've gone through it would be helpful for him though.
