Call me old fashioned, but I quite like a bit of rough and tumble. The alternative is that we have soft rubbish like the disallowed Anichebe goal against Liverpool.

Going over the top to break a leg for sure, but a bit of wrestling is part of the game imo.

Like I said, leg breakers have no place, but when I grew up it used to be ok to compete for the ball, and upper body strength was useful.

Sorry what? Suarez has committed acts of equal snideyness without comment. The only ones where's he had press interest have been when he was racist then lied about it and when he bit someone.

Kicking PArker in the chest, pull Rafael's hair, stamping on Distin's achilles, stamping on Mirallas's foot, his handball, his dive against Rodwell and feigning injury afterwards etc etc received pretty much **** all in terms of condemnation.

A bit of rough and tumble is all fine. But he just hit him across the face for no reason and went about as if nothing had happened. That sort of stuff has no part in the game.
