Jonathon Pearce commentates Poland Vs England

Can't stand him. Mind you I can't stand any of them. They all talk too much, shout too much. Imagine if they were sat next to you at a game spouting their rubbish, how long would it be before you battered them?:rant:

My overriding memory of Jonathan Pearce is watching a Liverpool UEFA Cup game in about 2003 against some obscure Slovenian team (god knows why I was watching it), and out of nowhere, with nothing happening in the game, he just said with such gusto "come on Liverpool!" It literally came out of nowhere and stunned me. Are you allowed to be THAT biased as a commentator? I've never looked at him the same way after that, it's only a matter of time before Tyler has one of those tourrette-like outbursts

You should watch matches from the 70's and 80's where Brian Clough would refer to English teams in European competition as "we"

Incredibly biased

The best one by far is the UEFA Cup Final in 84 when it's Spurs Vs Anderlecht. Anderlecht knocked Forest out in the semi finals. Clough doesn't even try to hide his support for Spurs. It's brilliant.

Brian Moore keeps bringing up they semi final as well. "I believe this feller scored against you didn't he Brian?"

Clough goes quiet for a few seconds and replies "......yes he did. It was offside I thought"
