Don;t agree mate, they used him as a scapegoat at the time and binned him off the minute he became unsellable. Even when he came back and kept them up despite the manager they still treated him like a sub par footballer.

the same although different circumstances happened with Barton, Newcastle (although in most cases right to) tried to sack him when he went to prison but went about it in the wrong way, so Barton could argue back about avoiding the sacking. The club just really haven't got a clue.
