1933: There are a lot of rumours flying around about the future of Everton striker Andrew Johnson - people have allegedly seen him massively getting involved with Bolton Wanderers. Can't see it myself, but maybe one to watch out for.

That's what they think since they got money to spent after selling Anelka to Chelsea, but AJ is going no where since we can't afford to lose another striker.

I'll tell you what.

On current form, I wouldn't be TOO upset about losing Johnson for say around 10M.

I wouldn't like it but I'd feel better if it were around that price.

I think i'd cry if we were left with anichebe as our 'leading' forward, not good enough starting imo.

Except that Yakubu is our leading forward.

That's why 10M "on current form" would do me just fine.

Yakubu isn't here, so if we sold AJ tonight, Anichebe would be our main striker.

boro have just signed a brazillian striker named alves. if hes any good we'll have him off them at the end of the season. johnson hasnt got enough goals in him
