RHCP fan. My personal fave line up contains John. He’s back in the band which is ace.

Anyone heard his solo stuff? IMO he’s a bit of an underrated genius. Also does anyone else think he sound vocally like Cat Stevens?

I haven't heard much of his solo stuff at all but I love his version of Song to the Siren. Can you point me towards other stuff I should check out?

Absolutely horrible singer, but still better than Anthony Keidis. RHCP doesn't have a single band member who can hold a tune.
Really great guitarist though.

Never knew about this aspect of his music. Decent track.

Not a huge RHCP fan, I've got The Uplift Mofo Party Plan, Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magic, but not really arsed after that. They're definitely better with John Frusciante, but Hillel Slovak was no slouch.

Dave Navarro is better in Jane's Addiction, who I like much, much more than the Chilli Peppers.
