Don't really rate him at all, didn't impress at Toronto and hasn't won a game since taking charge of Newcastle after Pardew's departure. Luckily for Newcastle they went on that run of 6/7 wins in a row or they would be in serious trouble this season. Anyone know if they have anyone lined up to to take over at the end of the season?

Some press rumour of Frank De Boer

Imagine giving control over to that ****ing idiot. The only thing he's known for in the game is trying to batter opposition players and coaching staff. Suits those bell ends down to the ground.

I used to like Biffa Bates in Viz.
I liked the kit when it had Newcastle Brown on it.
Not had a decent team since Tudor was playing
Last time they won the League Dixie hadn't even scored His 60.

Newcastle in 4 lines.

Crisis club Newcastle United have been rocked by a fresh blow with news that Mike Ashley’s trusted lieutenant and fellow board member John Irving is quitting.

The finance director is highly regarded within St James’ Park and is third in command behind Ashley and managing director Lee Charnley.

But Sportsmail understands that Irving has become frustrated with life at the club and will head to a similar role at Newcastle International Airport.

While Carver is still a PL manager at least the no mark has the consolation of knowing he's not the worst manager in it.

Don't believe Rogers is a bad manager at all tbf. He just looks totally out of his depth and feeling the pressure of managing a football club that is effectively a fad. It's getting to him and his days are numbered. He will do well at a club where the expectations are not those of satanic cult.

Carver on the other hand looks like he should do what his name suggests he should - stick to woodwork.

Strange mob Newcastle. We complain about our manager, board, owners etc but if I was a Geordie I'd be going ballistic.
One club town, great stadium (over 50,000 capacity), great support (in terms of numbers not quality) yet they never achieve anything.
Apart from Ashley (who seems to be a complete tosser) they just never seem to be able to get their act together.
Long may it be so.
