Exactly. His argument being "why did you not ask these questions 20 years ago" ? I haven't heard him once condemn Suarez on any occasion he has been interviewed recently about the matter (I could be wrong), and he seems to be doing this out of some misguided loyalty to LFC. That is poor, especially coming from him.

Not bothered with your fued with Bryan, Dave, but your point about comparing N with UT kind of backs up my points. A black man would be offended, but probably not that bothered if a mate called him a N. But for a black man to be accused of being an UT, particually by another blackman, is the worst. THAT was my point about 5 posts in, to tone down the UT references to Barnes, because is was obvious most did not have a clue about the context. And in the current climate, would not reflect well on EFC/GOT

Look mate, Barnes current stance defending that piece of shit Suarez by accusing others of ignoring racism is just him failing big time to address the racism right in front of his nose. I'm not black and I cant pretend to know what all blacks think of Barnes but I doubt very much whether many would see him as anything other than an apologist for some outrageous decision making by LFC in this race row. I'm sure he gets coin off Liverpool in some capacity and wouldn't want to jeapordise that.

Calling someone an Uncle Tom is one of the worst insults you can give a black person. Just ask Joe Frazier...

What I hate about certain people on here is they talk like what they say is gospel. I have to be honest I think this place would benefit massively without certain members.

Anyway this is going no where people are getting upset so its closed...
