Being completely serious, I think he's mentally ill. I think there's something actually wrong with him.

Didn't we put a bid in for him when he was at City which was rejected? Thank God City rejected it, QPR should give him a Twitter ban some of the absolute ****e he posts on that takes the piss.

can we not just take down this poll........................and beat joey barton around the head with it ??

On a serious note, if they sack him they have to pay out his contract, he wins.

Another club will pick him up for sure as he is undoubtedly a talented footballer, he gets a big signing on fee as there is no transfer involved plus he gets good wages.... he wins again.

Stick him in the stiffs and let him rot until his contract expires..... everybody else wins.

Just a quick question to see what people think about joey bartons actions yesterday do you think he should play again at all or at least for qpr the guy in my opinion is not a professional in a sport where young kids see these people as idols an heros
there are loads of ways to cheat. one of the most despicable for me is feigning injury, barton did it to get gervinho sent off so i suppose he is as low as tevez, suarez etc. fans of the teams the cheats play for should disown the [Poor language removed]. as long as they dont play for EFC i`m not too bothered about them, the players who need to cheat like that are a joke friend-o so i would toss a coin and make them call it. if its so important for kids to develop healthy playing attitudes the its got to start way down the youth leagues with their coaches

They dont have to pay up his contract if hes sacked.....honestly who makes this stuff up ??

Releasing him from his contract/ sacking.............depends on the grounds for sacking him. Could be argued it was Gross misconduct so don't know how they stand there.........any other parting of the ways ( unless by mutual consent ) is deemed as breach of contract so the club would have to honour that contract.

if i was his boss i would ban him from twitter and fine him a weeks wages for everytime he tweeted anything to do with the club/players/footy in general, i'm sure he'd stop it eventually. i wouldn't sack him though he's not the first loon ever to be a professional sportsperson.
