There's a lot of nonsense written about Joe Hart. He gets stick, even off certain sections of the City support, but it tends to be from people on the internet and not the match going fans.
His distribution could be better and he tends to punch rather than catch, although I suspect the latter is because of the current goalkeeping coach rather than his choice.
He's only 29, which might be considered the beginning of the end for a striker but goalkeepers are just coming into their prime. He looks after himself and could have another ten years at the top.
I don't think De Gea is better than him either and certainly not Lloris, both of whom get a remarkable amount of good press because of who they play for.
He's a world class keeper and his performances in Europe have been nothing short of outstanding. His performance in the Prem haven't been too shabby either. He holds the joint record of 4 golden gloves with Cech(who was this years winner) and considering he's been playing in a defence which has been heavily criticised in the media for the last 3 seasons, he's not done too bad.
If Pep does bring in his own keeper, then Joe will have no option but to look for another club. It would be international career suicide if he stayed at City on the bench. I have a sneaking suspicion that if he did leave, then Merseyside would be high on his list of places to go. Sadly I don't think it would be at Everton.
