i don't know why this came into my head just now but the first time ever I watched us play Hammers was in 1973 and I was stood in the Street End right behind the goal when Joe Haroer scored the only goal of the game.

not quite good enough or not used right was never sure. He was a sniffer type striker who took corners when he should've been in the box sniffing
