Thing is, with all the talent Brazil have at their disposal, why was he even on the pitch? Also, the goal was a mis-hit. Came off his ankle.

He ISN'T a bad player, he's a good player. But he just was not suited to the english game. That said he could have made it work if he had wanted to, he was actually rated pretty highly by our staff and players, but he just didn't work hard enough for it.

Strangely, Brazil is currently short of forwards, and certainly very short of target men (in Brazilian standards) with Luis Fabiano on the wrong side of 30 and back to Brazil, and Leandro Damiao injured. In fact, with their system centered on a non-scoring target man (Fred), Hulk and Neymar cutting in, and Oscar covering, even Damiao, who is more a Lukaku than Drogba, would found the role change hard to swallow.

As per Jo, I don't think he would got a work permit working here.

Used to smash those finishes from the left across the keeper into the bottom right really well. I remember being so excited after that Bolton game ffs. Not really built for the English game though.

Worst player I have seen in an Everton shirt....
Also had the BEST chant i've heard at the match....

Jo, Jo..... ****ING Jo

I agree with all of this.

Really? Scott gemmil at Derby many moons ago was the worst I've ever seen a player play for us.

He had the incentive to work harder, apparently he had half of São Paulo dependant on him, so I heard like.

Jo certainly seemed to have 'muscled up' since we saw him here. Scored some classy goals for us.

Remember that Moyes got shut because Jo had the audacity to go to visit his family when out with an injury, Maybe he just didn't like Moyes. Not a big stretch of the imagination.
