Pblueman

Player Valuation: £25m
People seem quite divided on this, so lets have some numbers. Would you like him to have a stint under Martinez? Or would you prefer we got rid for a few million now?

I think we should keep him, he looked appalling most times last season and it was such a shame as he was the man who fired us to Wembley 12 months earlier. Jelavic has such a good character and has that Everton nature about him. I think he should stay until at least January and then assess it from there, he deserves a few more months with us.

It'd be sad to see him leave, I'd understand if it was the right thing to do but at the same time, it'd be sad

Will be better with a proper strike partner.

Someone to lay on good balls for him to work his one touch mojo

Don't know who's going to replace Jelavic. Say you get 6mil for him, you know we won't see half of that to spend, what good is that going to be for the squad? See if he comes good by January. A new challenge, a new manager, maybe a new club by then.

He might stay if Bob tells him he is a key part of his plans. But here is the problem:-

Everton need to sell before we buy and this could be the type of player the club need to sell to give bob some more money however you,r not ging to buy anyone worth his salt with the money from his sale.

Keep him or take a chance a get a high profile expensive loan for the season.

Bit harsh. Big Vic was decent last season.

Jelavic seems a bit sulky to me. He needs to man up, get his sh1t together and start banging them in again. No point selling him and buying some cheapo, no-mark sh1thouse as a replacement.

Maybe. Or maybe he has a limited amount of cash and the sale of Jelavic tops it up to go after a £8-10M striker.

Stuck with Kone and Anichebe up front all season though mate?

If he sold a striker the overwhelming likelihood is he'd have a replacement lined up. As he said before getting Kone: he's looking to strengthen each department. It'd make no sense reinforcing the attack and then depleting it.

I'm just worried we won't see a new player in if he goes.

Looked absolute class when he arrived, literally slotted everytime he had a chance. Looked dreadful for the majority of last season. Totally devoid of confidence. On the odd occasion he did score I was thinking right this will give him some confidence and kick start him off, but it never materialised. Sadly he looks pretty gash now. Take the money and lets replace him imo.
