I don't think lcab said that at all, I think he inferred to a £2.5 fee being paid up front, and is owing at least £3.9m ( comments i saw from the administrators in fees owed)
So we owe the administrators that fee, and there is no reason to suggest we wouldn't pay it.

@lcabbabeh is that the initial payment for jelavic? Does the agreement still stand even though rangers dont exist anymore?

@stublue79 Its gone . The Co dont exist . 10p in £ AT BEST . ed paid some tho .
I'm not saying David is wrong, at all. He knows an awful lot more than a lot. I still stand by my statement, why wouldn't everton pay the final installments though!

I guess it depends what the rest of the fee involves. if it is app based then I doubt he will fulfill it by the time the adminstrators have finished with Rangers. If it's installments over time then I guess the same applies. I'm sure administrators can't force installments to be paid earlier than their due date.
The issue is that the old company will be completely gone within 5-6 weeks, which means the rest of the fee is invalid. The supposed deal agreed was over 12/24 months or something, and the administrators will be done in 2 months max. That means either no more gets paid, they demand all of it now (which everton won't have to pay) or they keep getting money until there finished with the admin (1 months worth)
Pay it to who? the company we owe arent paying their debts, or if they are like LCAB says, 10p in the pound at best. if we were owed the money we wouldnt be getting it from them!
I know first hand how administration works, the administrators will seek to collect all debts owed to the company they "bought", it's more a case of everton paying it, rather than the administrators chasing the debtors.
I can't for the life of me think Everton would seek to avoid it.
