Toffee mints

Player Valuation: £950k
The former prem league ref is doing a sportsmans dinner on Friday 16th Sept (this fri) at our supporters club in Walton.

We've got a few tickets remaining that can be claimed free of charge if anyone fancies it after a late pull out on some specs, shame for them to go to waste.

Apparently a really good speaker and should be a good night as there's a comic in too.

If anyone fancies it drop us an inbox and I'll sort out the specs.

Cheers

“ In the end I played a little bit extra, waiting until play was at the Kop end, before sounding the final shrill blast - a bit like the Last Post. The fans behind the goal burst into spontaneous applause. It was longer and louder than normal, even for a big home win. Did they know it was my final visit? Was the applause for me? They are such knowledgeable football people, that it would not surprise me. ”

He's quite good company to be fair and enjoys the banter.

He's a Boro fan and coming up for the match so is going to do a preview and obviously a few old stories.

And then get quizzed on his display in the McCallister derby !!

IIRC he is a massive Rangers fan also and has made some pretty horrific sectarian comments.

A wrongun that feller.

Yeah he goes up to Rangers for most games too.

Each to their own, as always.

It's merely an invitation to what should be a good evening previewing the match amongst other things.

He has a good laugh with the audience. I've seen him a couple of times and he's been good company, had a good laugh and had a lot of time for people.

The world can try to put others off attending but those there will have a good laugh amongst fellow blues.

Hope you have a good night.

Not my idea of entertainment, too smug and smarmy for my liking. He's taken enough out of the game already without us adding to it.

But all the best.

Only last week he "allegedly" tweeted lyrics of a loyalist paramilitary song pre Glasgow Derby. Very disapponting indeed.

At the time of his book I could never understand why anyone would choose to spend their money on such an ego driven product with no actual substance. I love footy autobiographies but I draw the line at referees.
