Javier Hernandez to Southampton

To be fair, getting the best part of £50 million for Fellaini and Lescott wasn't bad business.

lescott's was well over the top but fellaini had been very good for a few years in the prem. wtf had players like luke shaw and lallana done? one season in the prem where they did okay but vastly overhyped because they were english. some of the business that goes on at football clubs is laughable.

Just been reported on espn here in Mexico that United will swap him for Clyne. Not sure how reliable it is but they obviously love him over here. Makes me think Southampton is another team that has now overtaken us considering their set up. Plus they are adding another 10000 to their capacity.

Giving United one of their best players in return for a striker they don't want means they've overtaken us?

I'd take Hernandez of course but, come on mate. We already have a striker who is better than him anyway ffs.

We could have a Soton-like season next year if we sold Stones and Barkley over the summer.

Not that I want that. At all. But yeah, we'd get a big pile cash too. While likely giving up some long term ability.
