Has anyone noticed twitter accounts and sites that pretend to be independent Everton sites but really are journalists trying to direct traffic to big media sites?
Only me then.

Are those the ones that read like someone went to a gibberish generation website, put in a few keywords then copy & pasted the result as a preview?I've seen one called Evertonarentwe where some tit puts match previews that are hauntingly similar to ones I used to read on here, apart from that not much.
I have been followed recently on twitter by one called "Toffees addict" that seems to do this.Seriously though I've been reading some decent stuff recently and thinking what an ace blog (in direct comparison to the shiz I churn out) and then on further inspection it's a media backed blog and twitter account designed to direct traffic to media sources rather than being an independent site it professes to be. Snide af if you ask me.
Ace sites like this and EAW are truly independent, pure media snakes trying to eat into that market share.
Not sure why that word is blocked I'm guessing it has already been blacklisted on here. Or I'm incredibly naive and it's an acronym for something filthy.I have been followed recently on twitter by one called "Toffees addict" that seems to do this.
You click it, it opens a page with the first paragraph of the story (among many others) and then you "click to continue reading on [Poor language removed]" or something
